Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq has said the government is set to ban Jamaat-e-Islami through an executive order by tomorrow.
“We would do that through an executive order,” the minister said while talking to newsmen at the ministry this noon.
Anisul said he would hold a meeting with the Home Minister to fix the process.
The decision to ban Jamaat-Shibir was taken at a meeting of the Prime Minister and the leaders of 14-party at the PM’s official residence Ganabhaban on Monday night.
